Breckenridge Brewery opened its doors in 1990 in the mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It’s the third-oldest craft brewery in the state. Nestled below the slopes on Main Street, their brewpub continues to delight locals and visitors with a lively atmosphere, delicious pub fare, and of course, a great selection of beer.
Their two locations, Breckenridge and Littleton, now send beer to thirty-five states and continue to create new and exciting beers. Their portfolio contains classics like Vanilla Porter, Avalanche Amber Ale, Agave Wheat, 471 Double IPA, and Breck IPA, along with a variety of specialty beers that include seasonals, barrel-aged beers, the Brewery Lane Series, and a newly announced nitrogen-charged canned series.

Simcoe and Citra dry hops form a pinnacle of lush citrus and pine aromas in this modern interpretation of the classic India Pale Ale. Our hopback infuses flavor from whole cone hops to build a complex body, further emboldened by the addition of an oil-rich, concentrated hop flower resin called lupulin powder. This potent powder kicks up a fresh hoppy dominance, which is supported by a backbone of unique specialty malts. Golden amber in color and refreshing in taste, Hop Peak IPA is a congratulatory drink for reaching any of life’s summits.

Mosaic hops take center stage contributing aromas of guava, mango, and passion fruit lending a unique sweetness to the hop character of this pale ale. To build upon the tropical attributes of the hops, we’ve added thousands of pounds of mango puree per batch. Munich malts provide body and balance as well as a subtle sweetness that pairs with the fruit. This intermingling of ingredients creates a memorable and refreshing pale ale.
